Mammograms In Action partners with breast centers and organizations across the country to provide funding for screenings and/or diagnostic procedures to underserved men and women. We require that all partners apply for funding through a grant process that is reviewed and approved by MIA’s board of directors.

Mammograms In Action (MIA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit breast cancer organization located in Southern California. The purpose and the goal of this grant program is to provide funding to eligible applicants to administer and/or manage the MIA grant program for qualified women and men who need screening and/or diagnostic procedures in the prevention of breast cancer.

Our Mammograms In Action Breast Health Care Grant application deadline was January 25, 2012 and we are no longer accepting requests for applications or grant proposals. We are currently reviewing the applications and will announce the final grantees on Wednesday March 7th 2012.

Important Notice: MIA is not a treatment provider. Should a patient receive a malignant diagnosis, MIA does not assist in the funding for treatment. Any issues pertaining to treatment should be reviewed and discussed with the patient’s physician.

Practice CrossFit benefitting Mammograms in Action

On October 22, Practice CrossFit hosted Back to the Ranch, a one-day barnyard experience for adult and child CrossFitters alike. In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Practice CrossFit donated $3500.00 to Mammograms in Action. We would like to thank all that were involved in making this great event come to life!
